Did you know that Sarafina and the Pirate’s Spyglass has gone International? I’ve been posting a lot on Facebook, sharing details about my book, introducing the second book in the Sarafina series (it will be coming out soon), and chatting with fans! What a great facilitator Facebook is to communicate and share details about my writing, funny events that happen along the way, and of course … lots of pictures.
Of course, I really don’t need thirteen reasons to meet Ellen DeGeneres — I really only need one: she’s AWESOME! And I hope I don’t need thirteen reasons to remind anyone else that a limited number of special numbered and signed copies of Sarafina and the Pirate’s Spyglass is available (only 100 books total). Some have already been sold so the number available is decreasing.
It goes without saying that I’d like to send a copy of Sarafina and the Pirate’s Spyglass to Ellen. I know she would love it. And of course, everyone loves Ellen! Perhaps she’d be a perfect pirate for the next book — wouldn’t that be the greatest!
Give me a call, Ellen. Let’s talk!
I am so happy! Lots and lots of good comments and several 5-Star reviews have been happening! People are still asking for autographed copies of the book! I am just so excited that people are enjoying the story.
That was my intention all along. Sarafina and the Pirate’s Spyglass has been a joy for me to write since the beginning. I could see this young girl on many adventures and my deep interest in Pirates made a good combination.
Plus, I also go to Pirate Festivals all over, dressed in authentic pirate attire to entertain and educate the crowd.
I hope to find Sarafina and the Pirate’s Spyglass on many bookshelves in lots of stores soon! It’s already made it to two in Beaufort, North Carolina and I’m going to work hard to see it in more stores across the U.S. Thanks to everyone for your support.
I did it! My little hands were getting sore from writing so many autographs, but I loved every minute of it! I even did a story reading out of my book and the kids actually stayed and were intrigued. It was all so exciting to me, a little nervous at first, but then I had fun with it! It was done at the Beaufort Pirate Invasion in North Carolina inside the little gift shop. The ladies that worked there said that I sold the most books that had ever been sold in a book signing there. The Old Beaufort Shop now carries my book in their gift shop. And to top it off, I had another store that also wants to sell my books, called the Scuttlebuck in Beaufort, North Carolina. Now I can’t wait for Book TWO! The second book in the Sarafina series should be out early in 2016.
